Local leadership Survey - Orlando

The following are the results of the 7-question survey I conducted at the Alliance workshops in Orlando. They are listed in the rank order of how they scored for each question:

1. I would recommend the Alliance to other unionized companies. 88.9%

2. I am satisfied with the ALC at my work location(s). 87.9%

3. I am satisfied with my Alliance staff person with whom I work. 87.4%

4. I am satisfied overall with the kind of Alliance training provided. 79.3%

5. I am satisfied with Alliance career-related (non job specific)
training. 77.5%

6. I am satisfied with Alliance job-related/job specific training.
76.9%

7. I am satisfied with the company/union Alliance partnership in my local.65.4%

We had 82 returned surveys, which I estimate to be about a 68% return rate of those who actually attended the workshops.

Generally, I am pretty satisfied with the results, but they do show our efforts to provide training that will help the members with their current work is not as highly valued, and the level of cooperation on Alliance matters in the workplace between company and union is quite low.
