Dover Contract

To:  All AT&T Legacy T Locals

We are very happy to announce that a first contract has been ratified for the Dover call center.  The contract explanation was held on Saturday, November 8, 2008, with the vote immediately following.  The contract contains monitoring language; there is also language allowing transfers via Intersubsidiary Movement Form process and ATS.  The workers will also have the ability to utilize the Alliance for training.

The contract was overwhelming ratified.  These workers fall under the Service Contract Act.  This was an important organizing victory and we are extremely pleased that we were able to accomplish a good first contract for the workers.
