Art Harris passed away Feb. 17

We have just learned that Arthur Harris passed away on February 17, 2010.

Art was a valued member of the Communications and Technologies office. Before he came on Staff in 1982, he worked for AT&T Long Lines and had been President of Local 2250 (which later merged with 2350 to become Local 2252.) In 1991 he took the job as Administrative Assistant to then C&T Vice President Jim Irvine. He chaired the "local table" for AT&T Bargaining in 1992 and 1995 and retired in 1997. He brought tremendous knowledge and experience to this office.

Art was also a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at Faulkner Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Burgess. Internment will be private.
